T his year the Annual Stars on Broadway fundraiser will have a new format. On Saturday, September 11, 2010 the Sisters will host a dinner at the Polish American Cultural on Lansing Ave. in historic Slavic Village. This year's event will include a delicious ethnic dinner, open bar, wheelbarrow of liquor raffle, grab bags and door prizes. The cost for the evening will be $60.
Due to the smaller capacity of the new venue, seating will be limited. Stay tuned for more information in early summer so that you don't miss out on this great event.
A bilingual Mass with Anointing of the Sick for the elderly and homebound hosted by the Sisters was celebrated on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Over 150 clients and guests attended the Mass. The reception following the Mass was a way for those who normally spend their Sunday afternoons alone at home to enjoy the companionship of others. The light lunch provided was only part of the festivities. The raffle for various gifts was enjoyed by all whether they were a winner or not. The next bi-yearly Healing Mass will be held in October.
