7th Stars on Broaway Fundraiser Another GREAT SUCCESS!!!!

The 7th Annual Stars on Broadway fundraiser for the SSMI Endowment in Memory of Sr. Amelia Kuska was held on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Once again the event was a HUGE success. Over 220 guests enjoyed the evening; eating great ethnic, dancing to old favorites and bidding on various silent auction gifts & other raffles. The Sisters, Board of Trustees & Advisory Board wish to thank all those that attended & all others who purchased raffle tickets, bought advertisements or contributed items to the silent auction. We are truly blessed to have such great friends & benefactors. All proceeds will be used to help the Sisters continue their Ministery to the Aged.

Fall Healing Mass Scheduled

A bilingual Mass of Anointing of the Sick is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. The Mass is scheduled for 2:00PM and will fulfill the Sunday obligation. Mass will be preceded by the Rosary at 1:40. A reception with light refreshments will follow Mass in the Church social hall. If you would like to volunteer your time for this event please contact us.
